After years of drinking, he's lost and weary,

His soul adrift, his eyes are bleary.

But in that deadly darkness, a spark of light,

A love so powerful, shining through the night.

God's grace expressed in comforting psalms,

Touches his heart, bringing a sense of calm.

From the depths of despair, a new life begins,

As he receives forgiveness and confronts his sins.

Through trials and struggles, he learns to cope,

Wrapped in God's promises with faith and hope.

No longer lost, but found and sound,

In the love of Jesus, on stable ground.

So let this account of transformation show,

Darkness won't overcome light's radiant glow.

From drunkenness to God's deliverance embrace,

His soul renewed, finding its rightful place.
