March 2nd, 2023: Our Wickedness

 

It is perfectly normal if we lie.

We can further advance our share in the power pie.

It is acceptable to condemn to seek others' destruction.

It's justifiable because we don't like their position.

It is cool to ignore God altogether.

Our sense of morality will continue to suffer.

It is plausible to claim that we protect the right of women.

Our indifference is to the deaths of many unborn children.

It is noble to say that we honor the rights of indigenous people.

We don't even want to address issues that have made them more feeble.

It is sophisticated to claim that all lives matter.

We avoid our struggles in dealing with sins that have made human life lesser.

Addiction, loss of human dignity, and death have dominated our human existence.

Our self-righteousness now has its personal preference.

Jesus died because God knows our choices.

In His death and resurrection we now discover that we have a voice.

We should raise our voice in the desert of the human soul.

It should bring hope to those whose hearts need to be consoled.

"Do not enter the path of the wicked

And do not proceed in the way of evil men."

Proverbs 4: 14
