Oct 11th, 2020: A Troubling Heart

My heart is broken when young kids are without a home.

That is a fact of life for some.

My heart is troubled when a young wife has been battered.

That is something we can alter.

My heart is anguished when children are affected by substances.

That is a great disturbance.

My heart is confused when people are willing to live in denial.

The impact will be serial.

My heart is bewildered when people seem to choose death over life.

It will be challenging to overcome this kind of strife.

My heart is wondering when people say things they do not mean.

No one really cares when they spill the beans.

My heart is angry when people have no regard for the truth.

Life is filled with lies, and we need to sleuth.
