Aug 11th, 2022: Dealing with Disappointment

We all experience disappointment at some point in life.

Sometimes we feel as if we are cut emotionally by a knife.

We become confused and angry when it happens.

It might be helpful to have some time to reflect as our hearts become blacken.

Do we expect too much? We ask.

That might be true as we think over the many prior required tasks.

How can we move on so that our minds are not trapped?

It is a choice that many of us make to avoid more scrap.

When disappointment lingers,

we start pointing fingers.

Our physical, mental and spiritual health are now compromised.

The darkness of hatred monopolizes.

Forgiveness is a needed cure for disappointment.

We learn to receive the love of God by forgiving others for their indifferences.

“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you, I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” - John 14: 27
