July 6th, 2022: Eternity is a Series of Holy Moments

A Singaporean friend and his wife called to wish me a Happy Birthday!
It was a delightful surprise I have to say.

We have been friends for more than thirty years.
Our friendship is deep even though they are not near.

The husband asked me about my wish for my 64th birthday.
It was about learning to finish well day by day. 

We talked about the notion of eternity.
It has nothing to deal with time. It is about a series of holy moments and our serenity.

Our legacy is not about who we are and what we have accomplished.
It is how God lives through us and has His presence within us as we aim to finish.

Birthday celebration is a perplexing phenomenon.
We celebrate we are one year closer to death reckoning.

I am thankful for life on this earth.
I am even more grateful for the first moment I experience the true meaning of my rebirth.

Isaiah 25: 8
"He will swallow up death forever. The Lord God will wipe away the tears from every face and remove the disgrace of His people from the whole earth. For the Lord has spoken."
