April 4th, 2022: Manifestation of Evil
The aggressors will always punish innocent people when they fail to get their way.
The massacre we see on the street of Bucha tells us they treated civilians like prey.
Men without morals decided to shoot out of their anger and loss.
Bodies lied on the street because they did not even care whom they shot.
Inhumanity and genocide are words we use to describe what we have witnessed.
Yet, what we see from the Russian army and authority is denial, and no one will confess.
War is ugly and has plenty of suffering.
The discovery in Bucha tells us about to true nature of evil doing.
My heart breaks because it is not the first time.
In 1968, it happened in a small village in Vietnam named My Lai.
It was a mass murder of South Vietnamese civilians by American troops.
Men, women, children, and infants were among the 500 people group.
Some people say the Russian army act that way when they lose.
That might be true, but evil tends to be extremely angry when he has to be removed.
Once again, we cannot deny the face of evil when we learn more about the massacre in Bucha.
We need to learn to have our confidence in God because He will overcome the evilness of man.
Now we join many who suffer as we ask God to teach us how to pray.
He cares for those who mourn as they cope with the indescribable manifestation of human moral decay.
Ephesians 6: 12
"For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places."
1 Thessalonians 5: 22
"Abstain from every form of evil."
