April 13th, 2022: Predicting His Death

If we know the exact time when we are going to die,

what would we do with the remaining time?

How many people would believe us when we tell them we are going to die a week from now?

There is no sign of ill health, and they wonder how.

Some might think that we are crazy and tell us not to say that again.

They keep telling us that we are heading toward further gains.

Whether life has meaning or purpose or not,

we do not want it to end without enjoying our lot.

Jesus' disciples were more interested in His earthly status.

They failed to see His eternal purpose.

It is not about gaining everything in this life.

Know that we are running a risk of letting  heaven gate pass by.

We all have to answer the question: Who do we say He is?

It is still our choice to decide what the answer will be.

Easter week is the time to ponder on the resurrection of Jesus.

Pray for the moment when we allow the Love of God to capture us.

His death and resurrection were foretold many years before by Old Testament prophets.

Now it is time for us to embrace that for our ever lasting benefit.

"They have pierced my hands and my feet" (Psalm 22:16)

"I can count all my bones"

(Psalm 22:17)

"Yet it was the Lord’s will to crush him and cause him to suffer, and though the Lord makes his life an offering for sin, he will see his offspring and prolong his days, and the will of the Lord will prosper in his hand. After he has suffered, he will see the light of life and be satisfied; by his knowledge, my righteous servant will justify many, and he will bear their iniquities."

(Isaiah 53: 10-11)
