Aug 27th: Spiritual Nerve Pain

I have never been in the condition I am in now (spinal nerve pain) and don't have a clear idea of how to get better. The encouragement from many of you is very clear: keep on writing.

As I watched the demonstrations in Chicago during the DNC, I was overwhelmed by the lack of discernment, knowledge, and wisdom. We live in a very dark time. For me, it is spiritual nerve pain. God seems absent because people want it that way.

Let us pray for a much-needed revival so that darkness can be overcome. It is not about having a Republican or Democrat as President; it is about letting God remove the darkness from our souls so we can see Him clearly.

"But whenever anyone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate[a] the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit." - 2 Corinthians 3:16-18
