May 3rd, 2024: Protest or Agression?

Law and order seems to be a thing of the past. What we have witnessed on various campuses in the US and Canada is not protesting against a specific policy or idea. It is about raging anger and hatred towards a specific group of people. It is about going against everything we believe in democracy. Vandalism and violence erupt and no one really knows for sure who is behind it.

American elite universities will need to take a look at what they really stand for. The more I listen to these protesters, the more they sound the same. Are they reading someone else's script? Are they supposed to be the cream of the crop among young people? They certainly don't sound like it.

Our governments seem to stay silent because it is election time. Politicians would rather buy votes than reinforce the law. Democracy will be gone if there is no law. We are entering the time when leaders have become cowards while facing challenges. They hide and they duck. 

The next time we sing "God Bless America", we might consider how God really thinks of us.
