April 17th, 2024: Being Free From Captivity
In this image, a bird is liberated from captivity, ready to soar. Although physically capable of flight, she hesitates before taking the first leap. After some time, she extends her wings and embraces freedom.
Similarly, we too face various forms of captivity that hinder us from reaching our full potential.
One such restraint is the fear of failure, which can shatter our hopes and dreams, preventing us from exploring new paths or embracing our talents.
Another captivity lies in the fear of being misunderstood. Seeking approval from others, we compromise our well-being and authenticity, fearing judgment.
Moreover, the fear of obligations can confine us. Avoiding responsibilities limits our ability to make a significant impact on others and to influence positive change.
"Out of my distress I called on the Lord; the Lord answered me and set me free." - Psalm 118:5
