March 15th, 2024: Our Reality and Our Perception

Some of us find adjusting to turning the clocks ahead this past weekend challenging due to its impact on our sleep patterns. Perhaps the time change itself isn't solely to blame; our perception of time may also play a role.

Some of us enjoy creating "to do lists" as they provide a sense of accomplishment, while others may find them overwhelming. Perhaps our reliance on such lists reflects a desire to bridge the gap between reality and our idealized expectations.

Some of us resent the notion of adhering to a diet because it can diminish our enjoyment of food. Finding balance is difficult when satisfaction is often tied to indulgence. While self-discipline is often admired, it's also seen as unattainable for many. The abundance of diet supplements may stem from this struggle.
