March 12th: Sing A New Song

"Sing to the LORD a new song; sing to the LORD, all the earth.

Sing to the LORD, praise his name; proclaim his salvation day after day.

Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous deeds among all peoples." - Psalm 96:1-3

Have we ever thought that our life can actually sing a new song? I learned recently that every single planet in the universes makes noise if we know how to measure it. So in some ways, not just us but the entire universe sings a new song to God. So what does it mean for us to sing a new song to God?

We seek harmony in life as we sing that new song. Harmony within our spirit can lead us to true worship. Harmony within our emotional being can open doors for us to listen to God without fears. Harmony within our heart will help us understand unconditional love.

We learn humility as we sing that new song as well. Humility helps us to embrace the nature of God. It also gives us the compassion to identify with others' conditions. Humility erases our false sense of ourselves.
