Feb 9th, 2024: Remember When?

I chuckled when I saw this picture posted on one of my friend's Facebook. It is true that the Toronto Maple Leafs hockey team has not won a Stanley Cup since 1967. Yet, their games in Toronto are often sold out.

How about those of us who are Christians? When was the last time we did anything significant for God and His people? Have we become a religious remnant? Sometimes we don't even know how to integrate biblical truth while dealing with the constant bombardment of untruth.

Now is the time to put on the armor of God and start playing against the schemes of the evil one. The last thing we need now is to score on our own net. Many Christians have done that because of the yearning for acceptance. Compromise has become the keyword for acceptable ungodliness.

"But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty.
For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy,
heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God  having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people." - 2 Timothy 3: 1-5
