Feb 18th, 2024: Looking Ahead

"Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus." - Philippians 3:13-14

So often, we fail to live because we are controlled by the lies of evil concerning our past. If the devil insists on reminding us about our past, we should make sure to mention to him about his future.

We cannot push forward without believing in the mandate that God has given. Loving Him and Loving His people have to be the focus of everything we do and everything we say.

The last few kilometers are also the hardest for runners in any race. We can feel the finish line, and yet, we are so exhausted and tempted to give up. We cannot finish the race if we don't keep moving forward.

The absence of forgiveness, both from others and ourselves, has been a significant source of depression. Lies always bring darkness and uncertainty. When we forge ahead, we learn how to look for guidance from the light. Looking ahead begins transformation in our life.
