Jan 30th, 2024: Continuous Learning and Embracing God's Revelations

As I age, I find that the significance lies not just in what I already know, but in my openness to continuous learning. Staying informed about the world's unfolding discoveries and evolving thoughts is crucial. Learning requires wisdom, especially in this era where exploring new materials is more demanding than ever.

God's revelation is dynamic, unfolding not only through historical insights but also in the ongoing experiences of His people. Embracing openness to how He communicates is essential. It's easy to become entrenched in our theology, but studying the Bible and understanding cultural shifts aids us in navigating challenges.

New revelations don't necessarily surpass the old; rather, they unveil the consistent nature of God's work with His people. They affirm His faithfulness and compassion in our fractured world. While grappling with understanding, we must remember that things are senseless when sin is trivialized. Redemption gains clarity with a Savior.

"A wise man will hear, and will increase learning; And a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels." - Proverbs 1:5

"That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power." - Ephesians 1:17–19
