Jan 23rd, 2024: An Upside Down Church?

I recently spoke with a friend who told me about a weekly gathering downtown in Calgary, where he and his friends connect with homeless individuals near the upside-down church artwork. Despite its origin as a mockery of the Church, it has been the location where these Christians have been providing meals for some homeless people.

The wisdom of God is seen in their actions, as they manifest God's presence in the world. The image of the upside-down church may not be entirely negative; alternatively, the world could be seen as upside down, with the church remaining right side up. It all hinges on our understanding of God's revelation.

Courage, for these Christians, means perseverance in challenging times without pride. They approach God's work with diligence, commitment, and grace, remaining unassuming in their actions.
