Jan 16th, 2024: Coldness of Heart

The frigid weather exhausts me. Attempting exercise in -35°C proves too harsh on the body. Despite years here, the harsh climate still surprises many. Muscles tighten, aches prevail, yet I remind myself it'll pass to tackle daily tasks. Life persists, and people still require assistance.

Why share this? Temptation to give up arises when life deviates. Some forsake God's plan. Numerous Christians succumb to worldly pressures in the challenging journey of being Jesus' followers. 

The world's coldness intensifies, entering a spiritual deep freeze. Speaking invites name calling and condemnation. Some Christians isolate, but that won't suffice. Engagement, despite unkindness, is crucial. Warmth in this dreary world stems from God's forgiveness, restoration, and comforting embrace.
