How do we say goodbye

When friendships transcend time?

How do we bid goodbye 

While tears blur the sky's line?

How do we say goodbye

To a dream woven into mine?

How do I say goodbye

When the lost love is thine?

How do we bid goodbye

Knowing our souls forever entwine?
