Oct 26th, 2023: Unexpected Events

Sometimes unexpected events in life reveal God's activities in the world. I was recently contacted by a small group of young officers serving in the American Armed Forces. They know someone who has engaged in numerous conversations with me about good and evil and would like to have similar discussions as they serve their country and its people.

Our initial meeting centered around the question of what we are willing to sacrifice for. Many men and women in uniform have been pondering these types of questions, as they grapple with doubts about their leaders. Some of them are struggling with what they perceive happening in the United States.

These are young individuals eager to make a positive impact. It's a privilege for me to know and support them as they develop their convictions. Living life with convictions involves staying true to our principles, praying with a sense of purpose to understand God, embracing God's guidance with courage and obedience, and recognizing that we need not live with regrets as we stand firm in our belief in God.
