Oct 25th, 2023: Facing Challenges

Tire changes are a common practice in my region, essential for our safety during the harsh winter conditions. Canada, known for its extreme cold, presents various unexpected challenges for drivers. Winter tires provide the necessary traction to keep our vehicles under control, though reckless driving remains a danger.

In our life's journey, we often encounter moral dilemmas and face tests of our convictions. Christians, in particular, grapple with adapting to changing times while upholding their faith. Some embrace these changes without considering biblical discernment, while others avoid discussing these challenges altogether, neither of which is a helpful response.

The world may misunderstand and condemn our stance on truth, especially when it aligns with the Bible. We might not be popular in the eyes of those who disregard the Bible entirely, but this isn't the first time Christians have faced such challenges. We persist, knowing that truth always finds its place among God's people. Let's not be discouraged by the persecution we encounter.

2 Corinthians 4:16-18

“Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.”
