Oct 21st, 2023: Our Anguish Hearts

Many people have been talking to me about how stressful they are these days. Watching the news has impacted them more than they are able to cope. Many of us have found it hard to face the reality of sheer evil.  

So how are we dealing with evil?

- Prayer and compassion have to be the foundation of our spiritual and emotional stability.

- Trust that God's power will erase all evils. He is in control, no other power can overcome who God is.

- Seeking guidance to meet the needs of those who suffer in prayers. Our strength and comfort come from God, not from our human desires and anguish.

- Our moral commitment is to uphold what is Godly. We cannot allow exceptions that are based on worldly perspectives.

- Being compassionate and getting rid of our unrighteous anger. We cannot seek further destruction to regain what is missing within our soul.

"Whoever is pregnant with evil conceives trouble and gives birth to disillusionment." - Psalm 7:14

"For those who are evil will be destroyed, but those who hope in the LORD will inherit the land." - Psalm 37:9
