Oct 16th, 2023: Our Broken World

 

Our world is full of suffering and pain,

Many hearts are broken, and tears fall like rain,

We turn our faith, our simple belief,

So we find solace and relief.

A broken heart, a troubling soul,

In God's presence,  we see our goal.

His love goes so deep,

In darkest nights, His promises we keep.

Though the world may hurt and despair,

We pray to find strength to bear.

In Christ's sacrifice, we see,

His love is unbroken and eternally free.

Let us extend our hand,

To heal the broken in various lands.

With love and compassion, we have our part,

Rebuilding what's shattered in each wounded heart.

In God's grace, there's hope anew,

A healing touch for me and for you.

For in our faith, we'll find our way,

To mend the world according to what God has to say.

"For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet he did not sin. Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need." -  Hebrews 4:15-16
