Oct 15th, 2023: Obedience Part 3

We cannot discuss obedience without maintaining a regular connection with God. Obedience is a moral choice driven by our love for God and His love for us. It reflects our longing to be part of God's team in caring for this broken world.

Prayer begins with an understanding of God's love for the world and how the world has drifted away from Him. We often neglect prayer when we lack the desire to make a positive impact. We pray when we possess that desire and acknowledge that we cannot achieve it alone.

A vibrant prayer life commences with the humility to accept God's forgiveness. Through this humility, we uncover the vastness and incredible power of God. This is why ordinary people can have an extraordinary impact on the lives of others.

Philippians 4:6 - "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, through prayer, supplication, and thanksgiving, make your requests known to God."
