Sept 27th, 2023: Waiting for God

Waiting for God is an interesting concept that has many meanings. It is one of the most challenging spiritual disciplines. Waiting plays a crucial role in developing our spirituality.

Patience is an expression of waiting. We don't wait in anxiety; we wait in hope and trust. We hope that God will complete His plan for the world. We trust that His power will erase the schemes of evil. Now, we wait.

We also need to be strong while waiting. We should have the courage to wait for God to finish what He has started. We should be able to discern the deception of evil while waiting. There will be traps awaiting us. Wisdom will need to be developed.

Isaiah 40:31 : "But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."

Psalm 27:14 : "Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord."
