Sept 26th, 2023: Sheep Without a Shepherd
Sheep without a shepherd face many dangers and challenges. The same can be said about a nation that intentionally denies God and His presence. We can see this happening in many countries today. People don't have that sense of peace and comfort. Things are turning upside down in many aspects of our society.
Sheep without a shepherd are vulnerable to predators. In recent months, we've seen predators who prey on the confusion of human sexuality, genders, and identity. We also see other predators who purposely mislead our nations in the understanding of diversity. Predators take advantage of our lack of a moral compass. Everything seems to be a go, and that is defined as being caring and compassionate.
We are wandering into many hazardous domains of human existence. We are like sheep without a shepherd. We will be trapped by the absence of morality. We will lose our freedom to be men and women according to our true identity. We will experience tremendous moral turmoils and conflicts.
God always has compassion for us when we make these mistakes. We need to be the kind of people who have the courage to seek God's direction and the obedience to follow it. Repentance breathes hope and life.
