Sept 13th, 2023: God's Rain

 

How does faith take flight?

Like rain, the Holy Spirit's might.

A thunderous shower, a cleansing grace,

God from heaven, now in my space.

It nourishes souls with amazing speed,

Raindrops on parched, cracked seed.

Renewing hearts, it has no end,

Bringing new life around each bend.

As rain brings life to open plains,

The Spirit's touch ignites our inner flames,

Granting hope, love, wisdom so bright,

Guiding us through the darkest night.

Soft whispers stir the soul's deep well,

Like soaking rain, they make hearts swell.

The Holy Spirit, like the rain's refrain,

Renews our spirits, washes every stain.

So let your heart swing open wide,

To the Spirit's presence, like the tide.

Just as rain sustains the land,

The Spirit's love is close at hand.

"Sow righteousness for yourselves, reap the fruit of unfailing love, and break up your unplowed ground; for it is time to seek the LORD, until he comes and showers his righteousness on you." - Hosea 10:12
