Sept 11th, 2023: Understanding God's Work

Sometimes, we pray for a brighter future without fully comprehending how God intends to respond to our prayers. God encourages us to reconsider our present circumstances and ask ourselves if we are willing to collaborate with Him in the present moment.

Often, we desire God's answers to our prayers without undergoing personal transformation. God's response may not necessarily be about what He will do for us but about the transformative work He plans within us. We might seek God's blessings without a clear understanding of how those blessings will manifest.

When we embrace God's ongoing work within us, we become less influenced by worldly events. Fear loses its grip on us because we confront our deepest fear: the inadequacy of our godliness and faith. We counteract the lack of godliness in the world through unwavering trust and dependence on God.

"Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship." - Romans 12:1
