Sept 10th: Resilience

It's exciting to see a team come back and win a game, like the Calgary Stampeders did during the Labour Day game. It was an exhilarating match that wasn't decided until the last 60 seconds.

I have faith that God will guide those who want to be on His team. Remember this saying: "Life may knock us down, test our resilience, and challenge our spirit, but it doesn't have to break us."?

What does Christian resilience entail?

1. Being prayerful and placing trust in God in all aspects of life.

2. Practicing kindness and forgiveness in our interactions with others.

3. Seeking wisdom and understanding through the study of the Bible.

4. Belonging to a faith community to encourage one another, strengthen our faith, and engage in service.

5. Placing our hope in God's promise through Jesus, rather than in any specific political affiliation.

6. Committing to personal growth even through difficult sacrifices.

So, stay encouraged and keep pushing forward towards your goals.

"Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect." - Romans 12:2
