Sept 1st, 2023: Summer Challenges and Faith

In September now, where did summer flee?

Challenges aplenty, a twisting journey for you and me.

Losses deep and unfathomable pain,

Seeking solace, meaning to gain.

Moments we yearn to rewind,

Reclaim what's lost, peace of mind.

Left with faith as our guide,

Seeking God's presence, hearts open wide.

Trusting in life's simple grace,

Embracing death's mysterious embrace.

Betwixt the already and the not yet,

Life's resurrection, a promise we won't forget.
