In sadness, we gain insights into the nature of love,

Realizing it's a precious gift from the Divine above.

In sorrow, we find deeper meaning and purpose,

As our hearts embrace a sense of profound belonging.

In pain, we confront our profound loss,

Our emotions numbed as we contemplate the sacrifice of the cross.

In loneliness, we question how to carry on without our beloved,

Tears shed in our sleep, restlessness, and feelings unresolved.

In anger, we seek reasons and ask "why?",

Yet answers may elude us, leaving us to wonder and sigh.

In stillness, we find solace and rest,

Faith assures us God desires what's ultimately best.

With hope, we take the next step forward,

Discovering secrets held close, long untoward.
