Aug 3rd, 2023: Foolishness or Sophistication

We have amazing abilities to make things more complicated than they need to be. Showing unnecessary complication has become sophistication. In our follies, we portray our foolishness. We need to take a course in coffee terminology to be comfortable ordering a drink.

It does not stop with ordering coffee. It stretches further in the way we identify ourselves. We have created many terminologies that have no backing or realities to them. Perception of reality has dominated the way we live our lives. We discover that life now has no real foundation to build on.

What happens to our languages? On one hand, we are told that we cannot use words that might portray discrimination and insensitivity. Yet, we are forced to use words that discriminate intelligence and good reasoning. We don't even know how to talk to one another properly. It is the pursuit of self-absorption that produces ultimate meaninglessness.
