Aug 2nd, 2023: God Has The Final Say

I try to hear the voice within my heart,

Yet noise surrounds, stillness does depart.

In mourning, nothing seems to make sense,

My spirit's burdened, heavy and dense.

Death seems to have the final say,

Leaving life in disarray.

Awake at night, I humbly pray,

That God will show His might and guide my way.

While some say suffering is God's will,

I believe it's the devil's bill.

Suffering won't dim God's presence,

For light shall conquer darkness' forbearance.

The voice within says, "Be still,"

To discern and embrace His will.
