July 8th, 2023: What's Happening?

He seems to have lost touch with his roots, unable to provide much information about his family. Often, his response to my inquiries is a vacant stare, lacking any substance. Even the events of today elude his memory. He has endured life on the streets for an extended period, carrying his belongings in a shopping cart. Refusing to reside in a shelter, he rejects the imposition of rules. For him, life is a fragile existence devoid of purpose or direction.

At times, it feels as though our entire society is adrift, lacking a solid foundation. We fail to value our history and instead entertain the notion of erasing it altogether. Our collective identity remains unclear and discussing the past is fraught with shame. With no consensus on what is right and wrong, the future becomes an uncertain prospect. We advocate for the abolition of everything from the past while demanding unquestioning acceptance of everything in the present, devoid of meaningful discernment or godly guidance.

Our treasures consist of a fragmented society, holding contradictory beliefs about the meaning of human life. We proclaim a commitment to justice but lack a shared conviction of right and wrong. We champion diversity while promoting a bewildering and self-defined agenda of gender identity. Claiming tolerance, we exhibit intolerance towards those with differing opinions at our highest academic institutions.

We have transformed into a spiritually displaced society, wandering aimlessly, with no recollection of our true selves or origins. A profound spiritual foundation eludes us, leaving us bereft of stability and purpose.
