July 6th, 2023: Do Not Worry

"Therefore, let us not fret about the uncertainties of tomorrow, for tomorrow shall concern itself. Each day presents its own challenges." - Matthew 6:34

Worries prove futile,

A battlefield within our human minds.

We understand the lack of control,

Yet, we struggle to let go.

We pray anxiously, as if God is unaware,

Only to realize our prayers seem hollow, unfair.

We overlook His eternal presence,

Thinking it is solely our responsibility, our essence.

Our worried minds deafen His voice,

Our anxious hearts resist His choice.

Instead, let us focus on the present day,

Allow Him to have the final say.

Jesus comprehends our troubled hearts,

In His love, we shall never depart.
