July 18th, 2023,: Questions Jesus Asks Part 2

What else would Jesus ask us?

1. "Do we actively seek forgiveness and reconciliation with others?"

Forgiveness and reconciliation are foundational in our belief. When we forgive others, we also learn how to be forgiven by God. Reconciliation brings about healing and restoration in our lives and the lives of many others.

2. "What is our understanding of the core principles of His teachings?"

We need to articulate our understanding of love, grace, humility, and justice. We also have to manifest these principles in our daily lives.

3. "How do we use our talents and resources to further the Kingdom of God?"

We need to utilize our God-given gifts, talents, and resources for His purposes. This is our stewardship; we should be fruitful in applying and growing our talents.

4. "Are we willing to take up our cross and follow Him?"

Our life of faith comes with sacrifice and a willingness to surrender our own desires for the sake of living our lives according to His will. Would we be willing to deny ourselves, take up our cross, and follow Him wholeheartedly?
