June 4th, 2023: Who Am I?

Everything is possible when we deny the reality of sin and its impact on the world. There is no need to talk about salvation. There is no reason to question any human behavior. Our life reality is based on our perception of what it is. We will be ridiculed and labeled "dinosaurs" by people who are convinced that they have the final say about their identity.

Nothing can be more confusing these days than the language some people use to identify themselves. Some people call it progress in understanding our identity. Others might say it is a total deception in denying the truth about human struggles. We are now left with no answer about what it means to be a man or a woman.

We should not be surprised by this new phenomenon. "Who am I?" and "Am I really free?" have been the questions throughout the history of humanity. At one point in time, we pursued sexual freedom. We are now in the quest for new gender pursuit. We can never search for truth by leaving God out. We will not satisfy with our quest for meaning by focusing on ourselves alone.

"Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!" - Isaiah 5: 20
