June 29th, 2023: Meekness

 "Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth." - Matthew 5:5

Meekness can be misunderstood as weakness, but its strength lies not in dominance or aggression. Meek people are characterized by humility and kindness. The display of meekness requires tremendous strength of character. So, what qualities do meek people exhibit?

Firstly, they possess a deep understanding of themselves and others. They maintain a sense of balance and show consideration towards others. Meekness necessitates self-control, enabling them to make wise decisions.

Secondly, they demonstrate a remarkable ability to empathize with others. Meekness enables individuals to bear the burdens of others, knowing that God is with them. It provides them with hope and stability amidst challenging circumstances.

Thirdly, meek people refrain from passing judgment on others, even though they hold firm to their moral convictions. They choose to walk alongside others, offering guidance and helping them gain clarity amidst confusion.
