June 25th, 2023: Delight in the Lord

"Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him, and he will act." - Psalm 37: 4-5

There are three main themes in this passage.

Encouragement to seek a close relationship with God: We need to learn how to align our will with God's will. It is a moment-by-moment way of life, being aware of Him.

Trust in His guidance: God will continue to guide and reveal Himself to us in our meditation and study of Scripture. Trust won't happen without the existence of a relationship. We won't trust God if we don't want to get to know Him.

Experience His blessings: We experience that when we find joy in His truth and grace. God will not bless us independently from His essence. He will continue to have us in His way of redeeming the world.
