June 18th, 2023: Moral Climate Change

We hear the cry of those concerned,

Climate's impact, not to be spurned.

To halt fossil fuels, their crucial quest,

Yet sustainable alternatives are not yet best.

Electric vehicles show promise and might,

But ample electricity is key to their light.

Nuclear power's potential is debated,

A choice that leaves many feeling frustrated.

Climate challenges are not all we face,

Our moral climate too, a troubled space.

Parents' rights questioned, labeled as extreme,

A sinister path, it may deem.

Human identity, a topic of debate,

Navigating conversations, a shifting state.

Attacks on family and personal ground,

Leaving us questioning, what we are about?

Amidst moral decay, we must strive,

For spiritual, emotional, mental health to revive.

Recognize the urgency, let's honestly engage,

To seek the everlasting in this complex stage.

"Therefore we do not lose heart, but though our outer man is decaying, yet our inner man is being renewed day by day."
