May 23rd, 2023: Our Attitude Towards Each Other

 

"May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had, so that with one mind and one voice you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ." - Romans 15: 5-6

Endurance requires commitment. When we endure with one another, we affirm our relationships. It also demands attentiveness. We will not finish the race if we have no idea where is the finish line. It is also about hope because we believe that God continues to work through the issues of our lives.

Encouragement is the gracious bond that people together. When we encourage one another, we build each other up in the image of God. Encouragement also brings about restoration in our relationship with one another. It demands prayers and attention to what God has in plan for us.

Now we know what it means to glorify God.
