April 7th, 2024: The Truth of Easter

Our victory has much to do with God's plan for the world. He has overcome the separation between Him and us by the Cross. We celebrate Easter because we are thankful God is active and involved in our world.

Some people think we don't need to believe in God because we are improving as the human race. Are we? The last time I checked, human suffering in the increase. Unrighteousness is welcome. Selfishness is rampant. Hatred changes its expression to the celebration of the freedom of the self. 

We need the truth of Easter more than ever before.

"Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body, that you should obey it in its lusts. And do not present your members as instruments of unrighteousness to sin, but present yourselves to God as being alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God. For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace." - Romans 6: 12-14
