April 27th, 2023: The Creator of The Universe Loves Me

 

When I am thinking about creation, I am thinking about the universe. Sometimes we are so caught up in our human struggles and fail to see the greatness of God. We need to take time to marvel at God's love. God creates and holds the entire universe in balance. Yet He knows and cares for us.

The picture of the Earth and the moon floating in space from NASA reminds me of this immense truth. We are so small in the context of the universe, yet we are so precious in the eyes of God. God does not just keep the physical universe in order. He will also hold the accountability of our moral dimension in check.

As the Earth and the moon dance in the universe, we will dance with the angels and others in the heaven. When that happens, we discover more about the meaning of eternity and our insignificance without God's grace. True freedom begins at that moment.

"By faith, we understand that the universe was created by the word of God so that what is seen was not made out of things that are visible." - Hebrews 11: 3
