April 24th, 2023: Servant Leadership

Servant leadership is the freedom we have as we invest in the greatness of others. It is the discernment to see God's goodness in the people we serve. We eventually don't need to see ourselves as the center of attention. We will step away from it and let others be in that place.

Servant leadership requires an understanding of how the body works together. When each part of that body knows how to support others, it can perform miracles and wonders. There will be no envy and boasting. There will be submission and humility in acknowledging the greatness of God among His people.

Servant leadership desires to equip others for what God has in His plan for them. It demands us to pray with faith and without fear. We will learn to lift others up and cheer them on as they expand their wings in their love for God and others. Servant leadership will help all of us to multiply and grow.

"Jesus called them together and said, "You know that those who are regarded as rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their high officials exercise authority over them. Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first must be slave of all. For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many"." -  Mark 10: 42-45
