March 3rd, 2023: Solitude

We are heading out to Victoria for a break.

It has been a long time since we put on a brake.

It is not about being tired and needing to get away.

We just want to have a moment to enjoy God's presence with our ocean-side stay.

Simple things in life can bring us great delight.

Our hearts are at peace, and there is no disruption in sight.

God speaks through the sunset.

He was the same God the first day we met.

He reveals Himself in a crowded market.

God is the one with diversity, and loving us is His mindset.

We walk along the beach and feel at home with God's beauty.

Voices of hatred and deception cannot create ambiguity.

It takes a short moment for the sun to rise.

We will need the whole lifetime to fathom His might.

The waves are breaking along a sea wall.

God's love will continue to shake the callousness of this world.

It is time to sit and just be.

When we have a moment of solitude, there is much to see.

"So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." - Isaiah 41: 10
