March 26th, 2023: Relationships Are Gifts

Anything can happen at this moment to the butterfly. It can either freely fly away or have its body crushed into pieces. Let us imagine the butterfly represents our relationships with others.

Relationships can be such beautiful gifts in life. They can bring out so many hidden treasures. Sometimes we can experience amazing miracles in loving and committed relationships. They bring life and manifest the intricate beauty of God. They reveal to God how God is at work in our life.

However, we might take advantage of one another and crush them before they get a chance to grow. We perceive them as personal commodities and get rid of them when they don't serve such a purpose. They become temporal, and we soon won't remember them.

It is up to us to learn how to treasure one another as God's gift. Let us give thanks for the relationships we have.
