March 19th, 2023: The Steadfast Love of God

 

He is angry and lost as he looks at his life.

He wonders how he is going to survive.

He is afraid of thinking of the past.

Time has gone by so fast.

He has no family to speak of.

With two former wives and three kids, he still looks for love.

Loving himself is what he is missing.

God's love for him is his misgivings.

He finds it hard being alone.

Going after relationships is what he does with his all.

Priorities are compromised.

He goes after dreams by not being wise.

He now experiences emotional and financial bankruptcy.

We talk about knowing God and His mercy.

He knows that he needs to take some critical steps.

Trusting in God is how he can look ahead.

He sits quietly as he weeps.

God knows his pain that has gone so deep.

He needs to be confident that he is not alone.

God's love for him written in stone.

""The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. The Lord is my portion," says my soul, “therefore I will hope in him."" - Lamentation 3: 22-24
