March 10th, 2023: What Do We Say...?

 

We say that we love God.

Yet, we live our lives as if we are not.

We say that God doesn't exist.

Yet, we blame Him when our lives go to the abyss.

We say that we believe in prayer.

Yet, we treat it like a religious service online order.

We say that our relationships with God are relevant.

Yet, when it comes to obedience, we are defiant.

We say God is the author of all goodness.

Yet, we are not content with how we are blessed.

We say that we will walk with God always.

Yet, it won't take much for us to be dismayed.

We say that we give thanks even when life is challenging.

Yet, our behaviours can be disheartening.

Remember that we love God because He first loves us.

Nothing we can do to make things just.

The Lord's Prayer

"Our Father, which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy Name. Thy Kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, As it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, As we forgive them that trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, But deliver us from evil.
