Feb 22nd, 2023: Love Heals

 

Whoever would foster love covers over an offense, but whoever repeats the matter separates close friends. - Proverbs 17: 9

We live in a time when people get offended too quickly. Sometimes we don't even know how to work through different opinions and perceptions. Our culture has become so fragile in dealing with diversity despite what we have claimed to be. The new diversity is diversity in the same direction.

Love now becomes even more crucial in our interaction with one another. Not too long ago, we stepped into the trap of the evil one on dealing with differences in vaccination. It has divided many communities and families. The healing of that rift is still ongoing.

Love is the antidote for human brokenness. I have dealt with friends from both sides of the conversation for the last three years. My decision is to respect people's choices and pray that God will make things clear to all of us.
