Feb 1st, 2023: The Battle Has Been Won

 

The consensus among people is that our world is falling apart. Our geopolitical and economic trends don't seem to be able to create a true sense of collaboration. We badly want to find human answers to our human predicament. We are missing the mark in this global conversation dealing with what we are going through. Many of our leaders have taken the position of taking God out of them together.

We are willing to talk about poverty, health, and climate change. Somehow we won't have the courage to identify the root causes of all human struggles. It is unacceptable to mention God, and it is not cool to talk about SIN. Somehow we have become so unscientific (cause and effect) in managing the undesirable mess we create for ourselves.

Our governments would prefer to find ways to exercise more control over their people. More than ever before, we are monitored by the governments. We are now entering the newfound phase of slavery. The democracy we have been able to enjoy is slowly fading away. The new autocracy has arrived, and its power belongs to a wicked few.

God will make us look foolish when we think we are so clever and capable.

Deuteronomy 20: 4
