Feb 15th, 2023: Enough is Enough

"Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil." - Ephesians 6: 11

I am not a conspiracy theorist. However, I am troubled by how the Canadian Federal Government demands the Provincial Governments allow them access to people's personal health records before they renegotiate the health funding transfer to the provinces.

Does it sound like violating personal privacy? It sure does and it is the beginning of the Digital ID age. We begin to feel that we no longer live in a democratic nation. It is the start of the death of our democracy.

How should we respond?

First, we pray that God will either remove the evil power of this world. God can do that directly or via the democratic process we have.

Secondly, we pray that people will have the courage to stand up for what is fundamental to human rights.

Thirdly, we will speak and continue to articulate our convictions knowing that we might have a price to pay.

We are going through a period in our history when we have one of the most abusive governments in the free world. It is time for good men and women to take a stand. Otherwise, evil will have a hay day.
